The days get longer from today onwards. First a couple of seconds, and then a minute or two each day. More water time for us soon. This winter, as is always the case, our days start with a land breeze which is cool, and offshore. The offshore then picks up and becomes a warm northwester, or a westerly. Clean long period swell rolls in and we sample the fruits…
The water temperature hovers around 17C so sometimes a spring suit must make way for a full suit…
This is not J-Bay, but we can’t complain!

| Well a lot has happened over the past month. First, Brazil Surf Travel is now operating a new Kitesurfing course at Lagoa da Conceicao - Florianopolis. Second, Praia Mole Park Hotel the best waterfront hotel at the east coast of Florianopolis is now available at our new tour packages. Our latest highlight goes to new partnership with the local surfer Mauricio Mello, he's now our Operations Director and he will be available for those who want to take advantage of surfing different surf spots around Santa Catarina. |  |
| Mauricio Mello is an experienced surfer who has surfed in Australia, Indonesia, Mexico, Uruguay and all over the Brazilian coastline. He decide to settle in Florianopolis due the quality of waves here, as he says "no other place in Brazil can offer waves as frequent and perfect as Santa Catarina's breaks, I've surfed all over Brazil and here I've found the paradise!"
