The NEW Blue Fin Box Lock

After months of research in to material compounds and ways to improve our original design we are proud to announce the release of our new BLUE 'plastic' Fin Box Lock. It is smaller and neater than the original and will not corrode.

Special Offer to existing Fin Box Lock owners

If you have an early Fin Box Lock (aluminium) that has anodised (corroded) and is difficult to use then we will replace it with a new Blue Fin Box Lock. To take up this offer all you have to do is send us your existing aluminium Fin Box Lock and include a stamped return envelope with your return address plus AU$5.00. Make sure there is enough postage to get it back to you. We will ship back to you the next day.

New Surfing Magazine Launched

We received a copy of the newest longboarding magazine on the planet during the week and WOW it raises the bar for all other surfing mags. SLIDE is a fabulous read and has heaps of great photos. The magazine is published in New Zealand and therefore has feature articles on many NZ identities. Are the waves really that good over there?

Well done guys. It will be interesting to see what the next issue holds. It will be hard to beat this MONSTER issue.

Ask your local newsagent to get you a copy. It will be well worth the effort!

Contact Alan Ashworth for copies.

World Masters Surf Titles - New Zealand

Master surfers of the world.

This is a warning shot for international masters. Time to forget about the worries of the world and get down to the real business of getting some waves.

If you haven't got your entries in by now, they will be snapped up by domestic surfers. We are holding some spots open for a number of countries.
If you had reserved some spots for your fellow countrymen, we really do need to know soon if you intend to fill the spots. If you don't think you can fill the spots, please let us know and we will open them up to the guys on the benches.

On a far friendlier note, mate, we are having a ball. Our surf season has kicked in with vengeance. Everyone is complaining of aching shoulders and sun burnt eyes. It's been cooking and the long term forecast is looking so sweet.

Observations to date:
Yes, it is a sanctioned ISA Event.
Girls!! Where are you?? Plenty of room.
Same for the Kneelos. Room for all you guys too. In the best arena you could hope for.
Mere males! We can take about 6 in the 35+ group. 2-3 in each of the other age divisions. And a swag in the 60+.
Otherwise we fill it with Kiwi surfers who don't want to miss out on the best party to ever hit town.

And here's a little teaser. This spot is called Whispering Weld. Real soft and forgiving. Often surfed but when the coast is firing, this place is empty. Honest. Taken today (17/02/03).

Looking forward to seeing you all.
Cheers,

Wayne 'Arch' Arthur
