Fellow Master Surfers,
We are getting into countdown mode.
The Minister of Entertainment has got a couple of activities you might
be interested in.
This is for the evenings when the days surfing is done.
If you are a sponsor, there is an evening at Surf HQ - New Plymouth Surf
riders Club set for Sunday 13th April.
Monday 14th April is Registration day. More on that later. But there will
be an official welcome complete with Maori Powhiri.
Tuesday 15th April evening is " NZ Surf Movie Night". This will
be held at the Opunake Everybodys Theatre. One of the original movie houses
of the 60's. There will be beer, wine and nibbles on the pavement. Transport
available. Maybe a few more specials. Price for that is $25/head.
Thursday 16th April evening is the Oakura Board riders Club's " Beer,
Burger, B/S, Band and Board Stack" fun night. This club has done
a few Guinness World Record attempts in the past and is going for the
major roof rack stack again. Be there and part of history. All local fare
in the burgers too. Transport available. Good night at $10/head.
There's a Rugby evening at Rugby Park for those inclined. Super 12 game.
Hurricanes vs Highlanders. Transport available.
The Mill bar in town is having a special night and it just keeps going
on.
An earlier quote was, "The social calendar will leave most gasping
for air.
Forgot to mention that the surf has been constant. The locals are practicing.

Gumby Lock expands its multi-lingual capability
We have just enabled the site to be viewed in Portuguese and Italian. This is in addition to the existing Spanish, French and of course English. Yes, we do plan to release the site in Japanese at a later date.
