Step 1. Get your two keys and place one of the hooks around the bar of the leash plug.

Step 2. Now place the second hook the opposite way around the bar of the leash plug.

Step 3. Bring the top of the keys together and place the lockable cover over the keys until the locator holes of both the keys and the cover line up.

Step 4. Put the padlock through the locator hole and attach one end of the cable to the padlock.

Step 5. If you are securing your board to your roof racks then you will need to pass the cable around your roof rack before attaching the remaining loop to the padlock and locking.

Step 6. An alternative method of securing your board to your car is to attach one loop of the cable to your padlock before locking. The other end of the cable can be put inside the car or boot before closing the door. Make sure that the "Running Ball" is located inside the vehicle as this will prevent the cable being pulled through the rubber seal.
