'Protect your Stick' with a GUMBY LOCK
The Fin Box Lock fits Wind surfers and Surf boards with a fin box.
The Gumby Lock consists of three keys, a left and right hand key and a central key. The central key is shaped like a capital "I". The left and right keys are shaped like an "L". With the left and right keys the bottom of the "L" points in the same direction as the key name suggests.
Step 1. Insert the left key into your fin box.
Step 2. Insert the right key and ensure that the bottom of the "L" is in the groove on the side of your fin box.
Step 3. Drop the "I" key in between the left and right keys.
Step 4. Pass your padlock through the hole at the top of the three keys and through the loop at the end of the PVC coated stainless steel cable provided.
Step 5a. If you are securing your board to your roof racks then you will need to pass the cable around your roof rack before attaching the remaining loop to the padlock and locking.
Step 5b. If you do not have roof racks then you only need to attach one cable loop to your padlock before locking. The other end of the cable should be put inside the car or boot before closing the door. Make sure that the "Running Ball" is located inside the vehicle as this will prevent the cable being pulled through the rubber seal.
